The Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN)

The role of the FAN is to provide the home-base nursing services that

attachment/bonding, individual and family health related issues, family
violence dynamics, problem solving, family communication skills and
bereavement. · The FAN develops a family service plan that
includes a nursing diagnosis that incorporates secondary prevention
services for new parent support families and maltreatment cases when
applicable. Education Support and guidance specific to preventing child
and spouse abuse may focus on the following. · Growth and development (role transition attachment, bonding newborn, behavior, developmentally appropriate play). · Nutrition (breast feeding, failure to thrive, prenatal nutrition). ·
Parenting (shaken baby syndrome prevention, age appropriate discipline,
problem solving skills, couple communication around parenting,

full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner positions. These are administrative
faculty positions. The successful candidates will be responsible for the

physician for patients receiving treatment for chronic subspecialty/medical
